"The Endless longing" 8x11 inches Seated Female figure in a white dress outdoors

This one evokes calmness yet yearning I think, the body relaxed against the wall outside but still in anticipation of something, I like when a work of art is able to suggest a story but only hints at it, leaving something for the imagination, not everything should be explained.

Reclining young girl conte crayon drawing on strathmore paper

I dabbled with a conte crayon here, the difference between this and charcoal is that the conte stays firmly on the paper and its got that nice sanguine color, it looks brownish here but its more towards the red/brick color in person.

Another tiny portrait, the mystery behind the facial features is that they're always so subtle that a small change will develop a completely new identity, that's why I'm always careful with the placement of each line or tone.

Japanese model #3 female figure in window light drawing on paper

This drawing is more in close values, especially with the body being in a shadow plane with the light hitting from the side and back, makes a more subtle rendering with the features close to each other in tonality.
