approx. 6 x 8 inches pastel and panpastel on Canson paper
Sometimes I start these pastels with a brief vine charcoal line indications, then just follow up either with hard pastels or maybe some pan pastel to get a sense for volume, the soft pastel comes later once I have an idea where exactly it will go since it spreads on paper quickly and its harder to control.
