Anfora - the vase pose #3

Sold
9.5" x 6" charcoal and white chalk on paper

I've done a couple of nudes like this in the same pose so I did another one, it's drawn pretty loosely with a lot of vine charcoal in the background to add more space to it, its funny that this charcoal is not really black but kinda grey, I like the fluidity that you can get from it plus it wipes off really easy on the paper.

You are right - it is very fluid, and the background around her frame is very nicely depicted. I am amazed at how you can give enough detail of the face, despite the medium and the distance. If I have one critique, it's that I'm not really sure what's going on at the top of her head - are those strands of hair? Still, very nice.
